Attendance was sparse this session. Work schedules and rain apparently conspired.

Besides the model, ONE person showed up, and not a person who shared their pictures with me for the blog.

Some folks came out despite the impending storm and settled in to draw Mitch, eat some Peach cheesecake pie and turkey-mushroom arianciata and other little snacks.

October and November 2014 Scheduled Sessions

October 7 - Model: Mitch

October 21 - Model: Michael B

November 4 - Model: Harry E.

November 18 - Model: James

Sessions start at 7:30. Please arrive by 7:15 for set-up and social time and to avoid disrupting the session, however, if you must arrive late, please wait in the changing area until the timed session is completed to minimize disruption.

Fee is $12. Easels, drawing boards and light snacks are provided.

Artists are expected to bring their own supplies. Please refrain from bringing materials which require solvents or aerosols as we do not have the facilities to handle them.

For those new to the group, both the model and the artists are nude. Occasionally the poses are erotic. Men sometimes get aroused. This is accepted and the energy is focused  back into the work.  

The gallery is Metro accessible and as we head into the Nationals Post Season, parking may become more of a challenge, so please factor that into your transportation choices.

There is a mailing list. Last minute changes to schedule are issued via the list. If you have not been receiving emails from us, please attend a session. I'll collect your contact info and add you to the list.

You must attend at least one session in order to be added to the mailing list, as the focus of communications is to attendees only.  All other pertinent info and recaps will be provided via the blog.
